I had an egyptian cobra 10 years ago and his name was king tut. Super aggressive always striking glass. Had him for years and he acted like I was gonna eat em every time he seen me. Mother was wild caught and my tut was born captive.

In Australia we are taught not to use tourniquets on Elapid bites but to use a compression bandage to cover the whole limb. Why are you not taught the same?

Just starting watching these American snake vids, and loving the King Cobra stuff. Blows me away how calm Kevin is...HOWEVER...I would encourage anybody who has, or may have, a chance of getting bitten by a snake to get proper training/information regarding first aid treatment. The standard procedure(in Australia at least) is to apply a compression bandage(what's in your bite kit) the full length of the affected limb and immobilize the person, the rather than a tourniquet.

In a huge fan of the channel, and 1) I wanna thank you for all the good work that you do to bring awareness to the protection and conservation of these amazing animals. 2) I wanted to know if you were planning to document, using YouTube videos like these, the construction of your new facility. Tours of the grounds, the different places you’ll be putting the snakes and crocodiles. The construction and building and decoration of the enclosures from how the ponds pools and areas you plan to have made as running creaks etc the plants and fish I’m sure you’ll set in there (some help keep it cleans and can serve as snake for the animals I’m sure you know all this) and all the process of creating this new facility. And of course 3) to see the big days when you transport and place these amazing reptilians into their newly made homes. I think it’ll be a good way not only for us to see it become what it will become but it could be a good tool to for you to see and review what you’ve done as it does along. Like an online YouTube reaction diary. Big hugs and stay safe!
